Bromelain - Taken from pineapples, which is a powerful digestive enzyme which is often used in anti-obesity medications. It triggers fat breakdown whilst also having a powerful anti-inflammatory effect which reduces swelling and puffiness.
-
Riboflavin – Vitamin B2 Which plays an essential role in turning carbohydrates, proteins and fats into energy in the body. The body can’t store much of this water-soluble vitamin, but it is crucial for fat metabolism.
-
Lecithin - A naturally derived fatty substance which attracts both water and fats – reducing cholesterol and maintaining healthy arteries, veins and blood vessels.
Before the treatment please ask your client to avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin or any other blood thinning medication at least 24 hours before this will reduce the risk of any bruising etc.
FAQs
What is Fat Dissolving?
Fat dissolving, also known as injection lipolysis, is a non-surgical procedure that uses injections to break down and remove fat from targeted areas of the body.
How does it work?
A solution of deoxycholic acid is injected into the fat cells, which are then liquefied and destroyed. The lymphatic system then naturally eliminates the fat.
Where is it used?
Fat dissolving is often used to treat areas with stubborn fat, such as the abdomen, back, flanks, waist, chin, arms, knees, and under the buttocks.
How is it done?
A fine needle is used to administer the injections, which usually take place in a series of two sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart.
Who is it not suitable for?
Fat dissolving is not suitable for people under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, or with an allergy or intolerance to any of the ingredients. It's also not advised for people over 60, as results may not be effective.
